Legal challenges in Aviation

There are a few experts in this special field of law in Hungary, but fortunately one of them works with us at VJT & Partners – András Lovretity. He gained knowledge in the legal aspects of the aviation industry through eight plus years advising Budapest Airport on various projects and business matters.

Regulatory

We assist clients across a broad spectrum of complex areas, for example in registration of aircraft mortgage and deregistration claims, and in other different regulatory matters varying from EU regulations to national regulations before the Hungarian Aviation Authority.

Litigation

We provide representation in administrative hearings and litigation. Our representation covers support for our clients against claims for damages arisen from personal injuries during flight and in other passengers’ rights issues where EU regulation and its proper application are decisive of passengers’ claims as well.

Aircraft Trading

Assisting in the trade of an aircraft is not ordinary. In the aviation industry this process from the sale and purchase to the financing and leasing of the aircraft is special due to its own special practices and rules. Our specialists at VJT & Partners have the proper experience to assist you in this matter too.

„Due to Hungary’s Membership in the European Union and its prime geographical position in the CEE region, Hungary is becoming more attractive for the members of the aviation sector. This attraction is ensured by the Single European Sky of which Hungary is part in an EU-wide aviation market with 500 million potential passengers.”
